A common problem I find in most narratives is ‘too little explanation’. Anime typically has this problem because of a constrained timeframe, confining so much information into a 30 minute window for usually 12-13 episodes. Usually, all the details of a certain subject are never fully explained, which leaves much to be desired from the audience. But sometimes…things can go the other way. When you make a comedy series, you have to keep in mind certain qualities that of writing in order to engage your audience and ‘keep the funny’. When you mix the components incorrectly, you get a pile of forced crap. But, when you get that perfect combination, you make gold.
