Slice of life is an interesting genre that can be portrayed in a majority of ways, since life itself can be swayed into various situations and lifestyles. On one hand we have Anohana that depicts a more serious and tragic story, then on the other we have Lucky Star, featuring the daily live of 4 girls. And, then we have Gj-bu, an anime that I refer to as: a little ball of fun. Continue reading “GJ-bu Review”
Once upon a time, I found this little OVA series that featured a boy that screwed up the future, and an angel with a spiked baseball bat. Upon reading the description and looking at its average overall score, I thought to myself, why not? Now all I’m asking is, why?

Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, better known as Spirited Away, is described by many as a part of their childhood. I personally have watched this movie twice. One time when I was five and got horrified/scarred for life after watching a great majority of the movie, and the other, right before the time of writing this review for nostalgia’s sake. Also, I didn’t really remember too much of it back when I was 5, so I have to watch it again. Anyway, enough backstory, onto the review. Ah, children. Some people want them, while others want nothing to do with them, and would rather live without involving themselves with small people. And then there’s Yuuta, a college student, that puts himself in a very unlikely, but heartwarming scenario. Acchi Kocchi is a very simple anime, as it never overcomplicates itself with unnecessary plot points or any intense action scenes or drama to muddle its simple, everyday demeanor. Hell, even the animation looks simple. (Not a bad thing.) So without further ado, onto the review. Continue reading “Acchi Kocchi Review”
FlCL, Furi Kuri, Fooly Cooly. However you say its freaking title, this is a show that truly deserves the “What the fuck did I just watch?” phrase after watching its 6 episode run. So with all that fuckery in mind, onto the review! Continue reading “FLCL…Review?”
CAUTIONARY WARNING: If you are uncomfortable with innuendo or any sort of sexual related content, STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS ANIME (and this review as well). Basically, there’s a lot of it, and I would suggest to stay away if you’re not a fan of this sort of content. Viewer discretion (or whatever) is advised. Continue reading “Seitokai Yakuindomo Review”
Welcome to Flonyald! The land of kemonomimis where cities are named after desserts! As a bored teenager looking for entertainment anywhere, I browsed through possible anime and found this, looked at the art, saw “shounen” in the tags, than began questioning everything I thought that was in a shounen anime in the first place.
